Writing

I will be keeping works of my writing in here. I like to write structured-type writing. In other words, story-telling isn't exactly my forte. If you would like to repost my writing on your website, please contact me. Anyway, I'll be adding onto this, (mostly the Genre Whore section).

Genre Whore:

These writings are horror-movie related. I'm going to try to get a collection started, starting now. Credibility? I've probably seen more horror movies than most have ever wanted to, and I take them very seriously. Do enjoy.

Horrorfest 2006: Part One
A series of short reviews about four of the Horrorfest movies from 2006, Gravedancers, The Hamiltons, Penny Dreadful, and Dark Ride. The rest coming soon...

Return to House on Haunted Hill
This is my review of the sequel to William Malone's remake of House on Haunted Hill. Both versions of House on Haunted Hill (by Castle and Malone) are my very favorite movies, so I definitely had something to say about this...

Other Works:

These writings have works cited and credits on my computer, the ones that required research, anyway. So, I'm not stealing research or anything. I'm just afraid if I post works cited and everything else, then people will steal my papers... If you would like to see my works cited, please contact me. These are listed by order of completion.

Weighing the Positives and Negatives of Global Labour Outsourcing... April 2007
Long-report style (but brief in length) research paper regarding labour outsourcing in the United States economy. This was written for my Principles of Management Class. Note: this file opens as a Microsoft Office document to preserve the formatting.

Sister February 2007
An essay I wrote for Sociology class, I tried to creatively explore the meaning of the words "family" and "sister" in relation to mine and Jade's friendship (she's my best friend). Since I consider her to be my actual sister, I thought this would be an interesting subject to explore. I tried to mix structured-writing with style in this one.

Franchise vs. Small Business... December 2006
Long-report style research paper that discusses differences between small businesses and franchises when it comes to the "coffee house" industry. I did this as a research paper regarding possible future career plans. Note: this file opens as a Microsoft Office document to preserve the formatting.

Karma May 2006
A brief exploration of the word "Karma" and its meaning. It was for a group project; however, this is 100% my writing. Like I said, this is brief, but I really liked the wording and organization on this one.

A la Carte Cable April 2006
This was for a speech about the concepts behind a la carte cable pricing. And... That's about it. Basic persuasive structure, etc.
