The RE screenshots used for the layout and enter pic are from the official Resident Evil website. Also, I think the blood brushes I used came from dead brushes.

Past layouts

Note: To see layouts from other website projects that I have worked on, please visit the "extras" page.

Version 6: De Memoire

I had this layout up for a while, I really like the colors and the way that the text is set up. I think it is a very subtle design, but I usually go for simple and clean compositions, it seems like. I think at the time that I actually did this layout, it was after Moi dix Mois came out with their last album, and Mana has always inspired me.

Version 5: Paris "Can You Afford Me?"

I loved this layout!! I love the whole gradiant thing... I knew when I first saw this picture that that was what I was going to do to it. It came out looking great, but I did get tired of looking at it! The pattern on the bg for the website came from squidfingers.com

Version 4: Jill Valentine

It's just a cute lil layout w/a fun image map. Lucky for me I used an online website that coded the image map shapes. x.x Otherwise, that would have been a biaaaatch... Anyways, though, I really liked this layout. Sorry that version 4 is the first one I'm listing, but I wasn't keeping screenshots of my old layouts!

History

Well... Where did the lollipop shack come from?

A lot of people, and I mean a lot, have asked me that over and over again... I guess it's interesting to know where the site's name came from. Some people think it's a sexual thing or blah blah blah... But the story really starts in the gr.

As you all know, (or, if you don't know, now you do), I'm a gr reg. That's to say, I'm a regular in the game room in yahoo chat... Anyway, a very long time ago, in the gr, I used to kinda rp in chat and "give out lollipops" to people. It was sorta like my "thing". Well, me and my friend, Chris, went into a cyber-chat community called CyberTown (I think). And, basically, it was like this place where you had your own cyber-you, and you had a cyber-house and cyber-furniture and whatever else... So, you had to name your house and I was trying to think of a good name at the time. I ended up coming up with "Jill's Lollipop Shack". I can't remember what Chris came up with.

But, anyway... So, when I was trying to come up with a name for a website that I wanted to do, I thought of the lollipop shack name that I'd come up with those years ago. I've had the lollipop website going on for about 6 yrs now, I think. I've owned this domain for 4 years. I've been a gr reg for 8 yrs, I think. So, yeah, that's it. That's the story.
